• Scop: Previne accesul neautorizat la modulele de control (hacking) și securizează vehiculele conectate.
• Impact asupra Diagnozei: Începând cu 2024, este obligatoriu în UE, blocând funcțiile de ștergere a codurilor de eroare (DTCs), adaptări, calibrări și funcții bidirecționale pentru scanere aftermarket, permițând doar citirea datelor.
• Deblocare: Accesul complet necesită un instrument de diagnosticare autorizat, certificat și conectat la Wi-Fi pentru a trece de autentificarea gateway-ului.
• SGW Bypass: Dispozitive fizice de "bypass" pot fi folosite pentru a ocoli acest modul, însă utilizarea lor poate duce la pierderea garanției și comportă riscuri de securitate. 

Security system (SGW - Secure Gateway)

Vehicles connected to the SGW security system are protected against unauthorized diagnostic connection to the vehicle with equipment that is not approved by the vehicle manufacturer. Unauthorized devices are only granted reader, observer, or passive access. Such access only allows reading the fault home and data, but does not include the ability to allow all errors that occur, perform active tests or special functions, etc.

This Autel access card gives you access to the latest models of the FCA (Stellantis) group of manufacturers, which appear from 2018 onwards. This group includes car manufacturers such as: Abrath, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroen, Dodge, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, RAM

Obtaining an FCA license

These cars can be activated by Autel without interference with the selected subscription, from other systems, this system is activated only using the available diagnostic planning plan. An FCA license is an add-on to your vehicle's MasiSys, MaxiCheck, MaxiDas or MaxiIm system that allows you to access FCA's instrument protection system SGW.

• You need a valid equipment license to obtain an FCA licence
• The serial number of the equipment is required for FCA license activation
• You can use the FCA license for all vehicles manufactured by FCA
• An FCA license gives you unlimited access for a period of one year
